We’re pleased to present this 2015 Volkswagen T5.1 Transporter, a short wheel based, 180bhp example with the DSG dual-clutch transmission (automatic).  

It began as a twin-slider Transporter Sport-line van and was converted into a camper van in 2021, utilising components sourced from quality brands.

Starting with the interior, it is equipped with a Majestic Wood Design unit crafted from solid oak and finished in gloss grey.  This unit includes an integrated SANJO fridge, a Dometic sink with a double gas hob, a wrap-around wardrobe, and ample storage compartments featuring soft-close cupboard doors.  The rear bench is a Smartbed EVO 2, which seamlessly transforms from a bench into a double bed in a single concertina motion and effortlessly returns to a bench with the push of a button.

The pop-top consists of a colour-matched Skyline roof, which features a solar panel that charges the leisure battery.  The charcoal canopy includes three window openings with zippers, and the entire canopy can be unzipped, allowing the roof to open fully.  With the addition of the upper bed, this setup offers an excellent opportunity to park the camper van, open the canopy, and relax while taking in your favourite views or enjoying an elevated vantage point above crowds at your favourite events.

Both captains front swivel heated seats are upholstered in black leather with diamond-quilted grey stitching.  The steering wheel has been upgraded to a MK7 Golf leather multifunctional wheel, while the Kenwood infotainment system offers Apple CarPlay, reversing cameras, satellite navigation, DAB radio, and two USB ports conveniently located in the glovebox.

In addition to the standard exterior of the Transporter, it is equipped with Sportline wheels fitted with Michelin CrossClimate tyres.  The lower portion of the front bumper features a gloss black splitter, while the rear includes a removable tow hook and a Fiamma F45S awning attached to the nearside roof.

In addition to the vehicle, the sale also comes with an abundance of extras including a Dometic Touring Classic Air driveway awning with a Hayling 4 Classic Air Canopy. 

It presents 85,000 miles on the clock with full service history, including a recent full engine oil and DSG gearbox service.  

The overall condition of the vehicle is in great condition considering its mileage.  The exterior is in excellent condition.  As expected with these models there is minor corrosion at the bottom of the front doors.  There is also minor surface corrosion on the wheels.  The interior is also well-maintained, with only slight wear on some interior plastics and the front leather seats.
