This Retro Tourer is based on a long-wheelbase 2012 Volkswagen T5.1 Transporter. What remains original includes the front end, the cabin, the chassis and its 140PS 2.0L TDI engine, making it an ideal platform that offers modern drivability alongside accessible servicing and maintenance.

The coachbuilt body itself is constructed from aluminium and exudes classic American styling, inspired by the distinctive rounded Airstream design and the Karmann Gipsy coachbuilds. The Transporters body colour was originally dark grey but has since been resprayed in the green you see today, complemented by colour-coded five-spoke American-style wheels and a side-stripe to create a striking contrast with the aluminium retro body.

Inside, there is ample living space for two people. The L-shaped bench converts into a bed while still allowing access through to the rear, where you’ll find the kitchen area and a toilet room.

The kitchen is well equipped with a gas oven and grill, fridge/freezer, twin gas hobs and a sink with hot and cold water. An additional sink with a tap is also located within the toilet room.

Storage is plentiful throughout with multiple cabinets providing ample space. Above the front seats, a cabinet includes a pre-installed mounting bracket and plug socket allowing for easy installation of a TV.

The rear window, side windows and roof skylights are all fitted with internal blinds, fly screens and can be fully opened to provide excellent ventilation throughout the motorhome.

All camping appliances including the interior lighting, built-in boiler, auxiliary heater and plug sockets are controlled via the interfaces above the kitchenette.

There are multiple 12V and 240V 3-pin plug sockets located throughout the interior.

The leisure battery can be charged via a 240V mains hook-up from the exterior, as well as through split charging while the engine is running.

The LPG tank can be refilled externally and features a digital display inside, allowing you to monitor gas levels with ease.

An electric retractable door step is fitted beneath the vehicle and is operated via a button located just inside the rear door. Additionally, a Dog-G8 restraint is mounted within the doorway to keep your furry companion safely inside.

Up front in the cabin, everything remains familiar with the T5.1 Transporter dashboard. A couple of extra retrofitted additions include a Kenwood head unit, along with switches for the heated front seats. Both front captain’s chairs are fitted with swivel bases and this model is equipped with factory air conditioning.
