We’re pleased to present this eye-catching 2014 Volkswagen T5.1 Transporter, a short wheel base example, with 4-Motion (4 wheel drive) and the DSG dual-clutch transmission (automatic). With only 38,000 miles on the clock makes this an incredible well specified camper with low mileage.
Starting from the outside, this Transporter sets itself apart with its unique identity. Firstly it’s features an abundance of ABT Sportsline styling accessories including the front bumper, front grill, headlights, rear roof spoiler and the rear bumper with the quad tailpipe cat-back exhaust system. Moving to the chassis it features Bilstein coilovers, H&R front and rear anti-roll bars, and Aston Martin DB9 front big brake kit (Brembo 4-piston calipers, AP racing discs, Vagbremtechnic disc bells). Last but not least it also features Sportline 20” wheels in sat-in black, aftermarket LED taillights with sequential indicators and a Fiamma F45S awning.
Moving inside, this camper conversion has been carried out by ‘Bilbos’. This features their ‘Celex’ conversion with the ‘Low-lie’ elevating side hinged roof. This conversion provides seating for up to four people with the front two swivel captain chairs, whilst the rear bench converts into a bed that comfortably accommodates two individuals. Amenities it features are a two burner gas hob and a sink, both with glass lids, a 65L fridge, a 36L onboard water tank with a separate waste water tank, 240V mains plug-in, leisure battery, a solar panel on the pop top roof that feeds power to the leisure battery, plus much more. Please refer to bulletins towards the end of the description for a full breakdown.
In addition to the camper conversion and standard features found in Transporters, this camper van left the factory equipped with air conditioning, cruise control, heated front seats, and electric folding wing mirrors. It also features a Pioneer AVIC-F88DAB infotainment system.
The camper van has undergone a fresh MOT test, an oil change, and the installation of a new cambelt, water pump, and auxiliary belt, all completed in-house at our workshop.
Drawing your attention to some minor issues, there are a handful of paint defects present on the bodywork, and a dent which is present on the rear quarter. The dashboard facias have been hydrodipped in carbon-fibre pattern, which are beginning to flake in certain areas. These can be easily replaced with the original plain facias at buyers expense. These conditions have been factored into the pricing of the vehicle as part of a comprehensive package.
