Perfect in many ways, is this glorious ready to go Volkswagen 11 window kombi Split Screen that has received an extensive amount of restoration work.

The interior has undergone a comprehensive retrim, featuring light slate grey leather upholstery to all seats and interior panels. This is complemented by colour coordinating carpet and a light cream cloth headliner, ensuring a cohesive interior throughout.

The rear bench is a rock and roll bed configuration that folds out into a double bed, comfortably accommodating two individuals.  When not in use as a bed, the Split Screen provides seating for up to six people.

Moving to the outside this VW is finished in Sealing Wax Red / Beige Grey Paintwork, an iconic original Volkswagen two-tone colour combination. 

This VW has been lowered and features independent rear suspension, sits pretty on a set of SSP BRM 15” wheels finished in gloss black/polished and features CSP’s front brake disc and calliper conversion for improved braking. 

It features Safari front windows (pop-out windows) and 6 pop-out side windows.  The ignition and all locks including drivers door, passenger door, side doors and the rear tailgate all work off one key.

At the rear is a 1,776cc engine with a twin Weber 40 carburettor setup, mated with a 3-way flyer gearbox that gives you a taller 4th gear, resulting in lower RPM cruising speeds, better MPG and a higher top speed.  Additionally, an external oil cooler is installed beneath the vehicle to assist in maintaining oil temperatures, given the enhanced performance of this Split Screen’s engine compared to conventional setups.

This Split Screen in immaculately presented with the exception of a couple of blemishes to the rear bumper and a chip on the front panel.
