We’re pleased to offer this 1969 Volkswagen Type 2 Bay Window Dormobile Project – presented as an unfinished project and providing a great base for a full restoration, now 95% complete.

Starting with the body, finished in Beige Grey paintwork, which is solid and requires no further work.

The interior is nearly complete, with all seats and door cards trimmed in light brown vinyl, a refreshed headlining vinyl, and carpet lining on the underside of the Dormobile pop top roof.  What’s still missing is a dashboard shelf, a stereo, speakers, blinds.

Its 1,600cc twin port engine starts on the key.  The tinware, rubber seals and exhaust tailpipe are needed to complete the engine bay.  All mechanical components will require a thorough checkover and final refinements.
